The Shadow rolls into the mid-Atlantic states...

A long time ago, in a county, far, far away, there was a creature. A creature of dark and mysterious nature.

When the sun shone, he was in mortal danger. People could see him in the sunshine and he did not like to hide in the shadows.......

So he hopped a train across the states, supplied only with smoked almonds, sparkling hard cider..."and a delightfully full-bodied, berry accented meritage compiled of the bordeaux varietals." What else does one need?

Oh, and my sleeping facilities...

Well the ride from Spokane to Chicago was delightful, but when you get into the higher density areas, people show you how stupid we really are. 'Nuff said.

Baltimore is absolutely beeeeeautiful this time of year, and just to show you, I am going to include some video of the countryside we passed through.

The ride through Pennsylvania and West Virginia was breathtaking. It was early morning, the sun was shining brightly, and there was a plethora of river valleys to enhance the landscape.

I met some nice people, and all in all the train can be fun. My bike got here, without a scratch, and I have made some new biking friends:

I R tired, so I am gong to sign off. And I will leave you with one of my new favorites:

"If you always do what you have always done, you'll always get what you always got."

Ciao

I was in the process of giving it a try then I had second thoughts. I've had a little trouble with people getting my personal info off the internet. So, I didn't finish the process. I'll have to let someone else let you know what happens.
Love,
